Large relief money arrives late. Small local organizations move first and run out of cash fastest. The Rapid Response Fund exists to bridge that gap with unrestricted grants released inside three days to responders the foundation has already vetted.
Recipients report after the fact rather than before. Speed is the entire point.
How it works
A standing panel of three reviews requests. Vetting happens in advance, during calm periods, so that disbursement during an emergency is a phone call rather than a process.
Who qualifies
Pre vetted local responders. Organizations can apply for vetting at any time.
