Oluwaferanmi Oribamise

Oluwaferanmi Oribamise serves on the board of the Oribamise Foundation, where he leads the data protection and technology portfolio and reviews how the foundation handles records on the children it funds.

He is a software engineer on the artificial intelligence team at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he built the platform that lets staff query the federal hiring pipeline in plain English, with guardrails that reject any request reaching data it should not touch before that request ever runs. Before Treasury he spent two years at Amazon Web Services on the identity and access APIs used across its customer base. He holds the rank of Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he manages logistics systems for defense operations.

He took the seat because a foundation that collects assessment records, school reports, and health data on children owes those families the same standard of protection a government system owes its citizens. He reviews every system the foundation adopts before it touches a child's record.
